On my AT&T GS4, I was able to make a shortcut on a homepage to a contact. I bought the GS6 and I can seem to figure out how to it on this phone. Maybe the difference between the two company's phones. Does anyone have an idea???

Try going to a blank spot on the home screen, long press until the options come up. They will read" Wallpapers Widgets Themes Screen Grid" Click Widgets, and scroll over until you see the contacts widget. Long press that and add it to a home scree.
