Has anyone received the new re-release of lollipop for the Galaxy S5 that started rolling out last week? It is supposed to fix the major problems with the original lollipop release for the S5

Rerelease? Sounds like you mean an update to the update. Anyhow, semantics aside, I am also interested to see if anyone has gotten this.

i received it and it is back to normal finally. i had no more issues but now they have messed up a few other minor things who don't really affect the phone but a small fix should bring it to normal.

this is what i noticed so far which could be an issue. as you can see the volume panel looks ********. it bothers me but hopefully verizon brings this back to normal.

I just searched for it on my phone and found the new update to the update.  I was hoping to read others' feedback before installing, but I guess my phone can't be any worse than it already is.  I'm going to give it a shot!

Received it yesterday.....I have yet to see improvement.  My phone has been on for 2 hours with little to no activity and the battery is already at 78%.  The only positive I've noticed is that it no longer feels like a hot lava rock.

How do you get this update? Searched Google but only found an article and forums discussing, but no way to load it.

Doing a factory reset now, with fingers crossed but not really high hopes. What a disaster.

Go to settings scroll to bottom and check for updates, it should be available there.
