I have a Rezound which is nearing the end of its life which I plan to replace in a couple weeks. I noticed the other day that a new contact that I had added from the phone was not in my Exchange contacts, and I don't want the new people I added on the phone to disappear when I switch phones. How do I transfer contacts from being stored locally to Exchange? I'm confused how they got stored locally in the first place and why they're not synced.
There is an option to export contacts through the People app. Delete the locally stored contacts from the phone. In the same area as the export option, you can then import them and choose where you want the contacts to import into.
