hi, im currently a Windows Mobile user and very intersested in the Anroid platform, but i was just wondering if theres any app like WMWiFi Router, which basically is where you can use your phone as a WiFi hotspot via adhoc network connection. Is there anything in the Android market like that?

Hmm.. Interesting idea. However, the WiFi would need to be the AdHoc connection and the EVDO the internet... which would make that tethering... which isn't quite supported yet via Verizon.

I'm sure soon enough there's going to be something for that as long as it's "code-able" in the Google API

What you're refrencing to is something called "Wifi Tethering", something that Google And Verizon does not allow without it being in our Data Plan, or a seperate feature that we add to our services.

Luckily for us we'll be able to have Wi-Fi Tethering available to us next year.
