Phones that have the DROID branding are exclusive to Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless licensed the DROID name from Lucas Arts (whoever it is that owns Star Wars). All DROID phones are Android phones. Most of the phones branded with the DROID branding tend to have a more industrial robotic look and feel.
