I just received my Lucid phone and have a question. I use to have the Droid X and whenever I had a missed call/text there was an indicator light on the top of the phone that would blink. For my Lucid I haven't seen this happen and was wondering if it was a setting I needed to change. Right now I am having to turn the screen on to see if I have missed something and I didn't have to do that with my Droid.
Thank You.

Have you checked the online user manual?

Yes I have looked throughout the manual and I can't find anything.

I checked the diagrams of the phone on pages 15-17 of the manual and there is no mention of a LED notification light.
You will need to use some applications from the Play Store to "create" a notification using the screen. Search for No LED.

I agree with Ann154. You can download NoLED from the Play Store. It will give you options for the phone to vibrate and/or ring, and provide an on-screen notification of the receipt of either a text or email.

This phone does not have an LED Notification light like some of the more expensive phones, note the lower price point versus better phones, but what most people would perceive as the LED is actually the proximity sensor. Hope this helps to those with this question. dhaynie266

Guess what, I have an LG Spectrum, not a cheap phone by any imagination. It too has no LED Notification light. Several other $200 plus phones have no LED Notification light. However, I really don't recommend the NoLED Apps. It is always on and eats up the battery power like a rabbit eats up a farmer's carrot patch. I have my notification on vibrate, and when it's not in its holster and on the table, I definitely hear it.
