Our family plan currently has 3 'feature' / 'dumb' phones on it, one member plans on getting a smartphone. If the other 2 also decide to try smartphones but after a month or so (or whatever) decide they're too complicated and want to go back to their previous 'dumb' phones, will the Early Termination Fee or any other fees be charged? Does it matter how long they use the smartphone before going back?
Thanks!

The ETF only applies to the contract. As long as you keep your service going there is no ETF.

You can conceivably switch back to your feature phone minutes after switching to the smartphones. Just be sure to cancel the data plan once you switch back

So no fees for switching back to old phone... Would we need to return the smartphones not being used, or do we keep 'em? No other hidden fees associated with switching back?
Thanks!

Nope no fees for switching back and forth. No you do not need to return the phones. They are yours.
