How do I delete an email from my outbox?

Turn off your cellular data, then you should be able to delete the message.

Hi unfortunately not working. I don't understand why there is not a simple delete button.

Have you tried long-pressing the message?  That often brings up a pop-up with various choices, including delete.  On some phones, there is a check box next to the message that you check and then press the trash can.
