Backup Assistant Plus NOT Working

I have been trying to get my On-line backup assistant working for a month...my phone it works fine but can not get it to work on my computer, I am instructed to login with my Gmail account and when I put the password in I get this error message:Failed to add endpoint due to the following reason: Missing Device Name

Any suggestions or solutions?
