It is very easy to get a hold of Verizon executive customer service.  They told me over the phone that no exceptions can be made and that everyone has to get the same treatment.  I asked for more than just a month because clearly one month of free service does not equal the value of unlimited data.

Why do you believe tenure is such a huge thing and bargaining chip? You have probably had the same gas, electiric and grocery companies for some years too, do you go ask for lower pricing on your milk or a special deal on Unlimited Doritos? What makes this service any different? It's just something you have to deal with if you want the superior quality of the network. Sprint claims to have Unlimited. They do not. They have Unlimited in their network only, when you roam onto another network, you are limited to 300MB. And seeing at their Network is ever shrinking, that is not good. They recently closed 20,000 towers to pay for the iPhone rights. And Straight Talk? Lol. Do you even use enough data to warranty Unlimited? Times are a Changin' Deal with it or go to a crappier service

My question. I have a Verizon Palm Pixi Plus. ( I know stop laughing) Started 2 year contract in 2010. This phone came with the unlimited data (29.95) and free hot spot for as long as I owned the phone. Also have one regular cell. Both phones are on the lowest minutes and we pay $5.00 a month each for 250 texts. Monthly Bill with work discount and all taxes is just over $102.00 a month.

Problem. the pixi screen broke. I can buy a new verizon Palm Pixi Plus for approx. $40.00.  Question can I stay on the same plans and have Verizon activate this same new Palm Pixi Plus?

Where are you purchasing this Palm Pixi Plus? If it is from Verizon or a retailer which is giving you as subsidy thru Verizon, the answer is likely "no".

If you are purchasing from a private party such as ebay or swappa.com then you should be able to do so.

The use up to 10 gb a month.  They can have it when they pry it from my

cold dead hands.  I cant wait until they drop 4g next to my house so I can

use it as a hotspot.  I can afford my own 600 phones even though I still

think its total bs that Verizon changed the policy to trick, force, or sway

people out of unlimited plans.  There is a reason.  Once you start getting

30mb down and up you dont need a home internet connection (depending on

where you live).  It makes me want to run some sort of data eating ap just

because I can.  If att offered me unlimited data for what I pay now I would

leave verizon that second.  The answers I got from Twitter from Verizon

sounded like robots.  Example "We want your business and you can keep the

unlimited data if you purchase your phone at full price."  No kidding.

That was real helpful.  The other answer was "Have you checked to see how

much data you are using or maybe you could get on a family share plan."

Really...that was helpful.  Verizon does not care because they know for

now they have the best coverage in most of the US but every giant will

fall.  With what I have spent every month at 145 plus international roaming

and referring my non tech savvy friends to Verizon, you would think I would

get a little more respect.

If I say that Verizon customer service is simply lip service, is that name

calling?
